Adani Sportsline Set to Launch Little Giants Inter-School Championship 2023 on 15 July

Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Cricket and Football will be a part of the Little Giants Inter-School Championship 2023 programme
Ahmedabad, 14th July, 2023: With an eye on developing and honing local sports talent in Gujarat, the Adani Sportsline team is all set to kick start their Little Giants Inter-School Championship 2023 in July. The Championships will see Adani Sportsline organize tournaments in Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Cricket and Football. While the first rounds of the tournament will commence from 15th July in Surat, the finals for all the Championships will be held in Ahmedabad. 
The Little Giants Inter-School Championship 2023 is aimed at promoting the culture of sports at grassroots level and thereby identify and discover talented young athletes in. The Little Giants Inter-School Championship will eventually see the best of the talent become part of a training programme to further harness their potential. In the previous edition of the Championships, which was centered around Kabaddi and Kho-Kho, more than 3,000 students between the ages of 12-17 years participated across the state of Gujarat.  
The Little Giants Inter-School Kabaddi Championship 2023 will begin its journey with the Inter-City Final in Surat (15-16 July) at the P. P. Savani Cambridge International School, before moving to Rajkot (22-23 July), Baroda (29-30 July), with the last round being in Ahmedabad (4-5 August). The finals are scheduled for 6-7 August in Ahmedabad. The top two teams from each city will qualify for the playoffs, which will be held in Ahmedabad. 
The Little Giants Inter-School Kho-Kho Championship 2023 and the Inter-City Final is scheduled to start from Surat (15 July) at the P. P. Savani Cambridge International School, and go to Rajkot (22 July), Baroda (29 July) and Ahmedabad (4 August), with the finals also slated for Ahmedabad (6-7 August). 
Furthermore, the Inter-City Final for Little Giants Inter-School Cricket Championship 2023’s Inter-city Final and the Little Giants Inter-School Football Championship 2023’s Inter-City Final will take place from 25-29 July in Ahmedabad, with 30 July earmarked for the final which will take place in Ahmedabad. This is the first time the Little Giants Inter-School Championship will include cricket and football as well.

I have seen many great young talents in the NYP trials and I am hopeful that soon someone from this tournament will be a part of the NYP programme. I would like to wish all the participants the very best,” said Ram Mehar Singh, who is the head coach of the Adani Gujarat Giants in the Pro Kabaddi League. 
“The Little Giants Inter-School Championship 2023 will provide a lot of young children with a fantastic platform to showcase their skills. And the fact this a state-wide Championship, it opens up new avenues for the youngsters and especially the women cricketers. I am confident we will get to see some very exciting contests across the sports, and I am looking forward to a celebration of women’s cricket,” said Mithali Raj, who is the Mentor and Advisor of the Adani Gujarat Giants in the Women’s Premier League.
